OPENING RECEPTION on 9 December from 6 p.m. at the Bulgarian cultural institut at Andrássy út 14, Budapest, right next to the Budapest Opera House. Enjoy visiting the exhibition until Friday, 13 February 2026.
The exhibition was opened on December 9, 2025, in an atmosphere of vibrant cultural dialogue, in the presence of H.E. the Ambassador of Bulgaria to Hungary, the Cultural Attaché of Switzerland in Budapest, and a numerous, inspired audience with a keen interest in contemporary art.. Some works from the previous exhibition was also on display.

Sea on Fire – Mer en feu
A collection of works inspired by the Black Sea’s richness and diversity.
Each piece in the « Mer en Feu » collection is crafted from driftwood found on the Bulgarian coast of the Black Sea.
Shells of marine organisms and traces of fire are preserved in the wood, which is sculpted by the waves of the sea and the artist.
Thus, the elements— Water, fire, and the artist’s spirit come together to create unique works of art charged with energy and vitality.
Modern, exciting, and vibrant, the « Sea on fire » collection brings the richness and diversity of the Black Sea into every home.
